Indira Yakovenko
Her passion for
the film industry was born far before her first visit
to the Cannes audiovisual market and her thesis topic
was "The Russian identity through international
film and TV markets" (defended successfully at
Nice Sophia-Antipolis University).
She inherited it from her father : an Ukrainian filmmaker.
A journalist for business and secular press in Ukraine
(Kyiv), she came to France to study anthropology. Working
with the Russian delegation to MIPTV
and Monte Carlo Television Festival as well as with
French and English companies for the Cannes Film market
and MIPCOM, she set up contacts between Russian and
international producers.
Her principal aim is to help young talented filmmakers
to be commercially and artistically successful in international
film and TV markets and industries. |
